Description:
The Healing Center, a Brooklyn domestic violence counseling and resource center, is hosting its first annual teen dating violence awareness walk-a-thon from Sunset Park to Bay Ridge to call attention to the growing problem of teen dating violence. Marchers will sign in at 4th Avenue & 47th Street and walk the 1 ΒΌ miles down 4th Avenue to Ovington Avenue. Walk-A-Thon sponsors include Connect, HealthFirst, the Center for Anti-Violence Education, the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, Arab American Family Support Center. 718-238-5158
