2012 Teen Relationship Summit

The first annual Teen Relationship Summit themed "Teens, Sex, and Pop Culture" will be held on February 4th at Nicholls State University in the Student Union from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Registration will begin at 8:30 am. The event is for teens ages 13 to 17, parents/guardians and professionals providing services to teens. The cost of registration is $ 8.00 per person. Throughout the course of the day, youth participants will be engaged in workshops, sharing sessions and informal networking activities designed to encourage discussion of important relationship issues affecting youth ages 13 to 17. Adults in attendance will attend sessions that will focus on how to support teenagers and find ways to encourage healthy relationship behaviors in today's technological world. It is our goal that by the end of the day, participants will walk away with valuable knowledge, tools and relationship skills to build on. Space is limited!
